| Ji Zhi Gua Pian is actually the same tea as Lu An Gua Pian but it is processed using machine. "Ji Zhi" means machine-processed. The tea leaves used are picked from wild grown old tea bush in order to bring out the best taste in this Gua Pian tea. It is also comprised of pure tea leaves without the bud part, just like Lu An Gua Pian. Even though it is processed using machine, expert care was taken to make sure that the tea is processed according to traditional formula. Other names: Machine Processed Melon Seed Tea Taste: As expected from a Gua Pian tea, the floral taste and fragrance of Ji Zhi Gua Pian is exceptionally strong for a green tea. It has a distinct floral sweet and pleasant aftertaste that is a reminiscence of orchid blossom. Appearance: This tea is made only using the tea leaves and no buds at all (similar to Japanese green tea). The emerald-green dried tea leaves are long and narrow, each measuring between 1.5 to 2 centimeter in length. Compared to Lu An Gua Pian, the tea leaves are more complete and tidy.
