The more I drink it, the fonder I become of this tea. it is elegant. It can be brewed to be almost as strong as an Indian black tea but is more refined and silky, with a delicate fragrance.

A good black tea, but in my opinion, no outstanding flavor notes. I prefer the maltiness of Yunnan Pure Gold or the chocolateliness of Sichuan Gongfu.

Over time, itīs become a favorite. Hints of rose and never gets harsh. Elegant, lyrical and flavorful.

A lovely afternoon tea. Multiple notes of flavor, and especially good for the price.

Good as always, Iīve been ordering this tea on regular basis probably for more than a year.

This is a lovely tea. Itīs flavor is gentle yet it brews a nice strong cup. Sweet tones complement the requisite bitter a of black tea and it has....how can I say...a lilt! Itīs a musical taste.

    Uzi (12/7/2017)

This was my second order of this tea, just great yet a little bit expensive.

    Stanislav (8/22/2017)

Along with Yunnan Gold this is my favorite morning tea for now.

The Keemun Mao Feng has lighter body, but comes through with a berry jam flavor which is balanced and has a clean finish. Balance in the palate holds up for 2-to-3 infusions. Blends well with Da Hong Pao and Ceylon orange pekoe. This is highly recommended if you are not looking for the most concentrated Keemun flavor or more than 3 infusions.

This is a very good (between good and excellent) dependable every day Keemun. It has body and that wonderful delicate sweetness that make this Keemun one of my favorite teas with creamy milk.

Keemun always stand out compare to other black tea, this Keemun is medium in taste, with a bit of sweetness to it, very enjoying. I like the smoothness and hint of sweetness you only get in Keemun.

Keemun Mao Feng is my choice for special occasions and lazy Sunday morning teas. My husband is normally a coffee drinker and even he likes to savor a cup or two (or three).

    Michelle (6/25/2015)

I bought this as a nice black to have and maybe do cold extraction. I had a good flavor profile and a bit nutty.

    Blake (1/27/2015)

Excellent everyday black tea. Chocolatey with nice caramel and smokey notes. A strong tea that can easily handle multiple infusions. Highly recommended for someone looking for a rich dark tea that is not astringent.

    ryan (1/1/2015)

Quite good tea with a strong and refreshing flavour

    Joao (12/27/2014)

This is a good tea but I had higher hopes for it. Iīve had trouble getting the right infusion, with many of them yielding what tastes like a plain black tea. Occasionally I get a good steep with more complex flavors.

    J (10/28/2014)

I really like the chinese black teas. Same with this one. Put leaves direct in cup. Leaves sink to bottom. Ready to drink. Great taste. Fill cup 4-5 times when low.

    Thomas (5/25/2014)

Great black tea for the morning. Rich and full bodied.

    Keith (3/31/2014)

This is a great black tea. I must admit, itīs a little boring compared to some of TeaSpringīs other selections, but that is not necessarily bad. Itīs sweet and full bodied and robust, and it has no real glaring flaws. Itīs an archetypal black tea, and you canīt go wrong with it.

    Timothy (3/3/2014)

Good everyday black tea. I use it at work and inn the morning.

    Thomas (11/26/2013)

Очень приятный черный чай с богатым вкусом и ароматом.

    č stata una bella scoperta, un buon tea non particolarmente costoso ma interesante. līinfusione va fatta con attenzione;

    Tommaso (7/30/2013)

Smooth, medium color, floral aroma, and very sweet. Some astringency, but barely noticeable. The tea is not an overly strong black tea, and can infused several times in a small yi xing teapot, if you keep the infusions short. I think it should be drunk without milk to appreciate all the sweet notes. Highly recommended.

    Kei (7/29/2013)

This is a wonderful black tea. Has a syrupy flavor that fills the mouth. Different from your Ceylons or Darjeelings, I think - smoother. Great price too. Good for an everyday tea.

    Donald (3/13/2013)

When I opened this tea my initial thoughts were coco. First infusion confirmed that; very sweet and a little malty. Second and third infusion taste sharpenes some. Additional brewing seems to level taste wise. Iīve only tried a few black teas of this quality; but this one has made the top of the list. This tea also pairs well with a little milk. Highly recommended.

    Christopher (2/11/2013)

Tasty but can be brewed only once. Second brewed is out of taste. But this tea is not expensive so I will buy it again.

    piotr (10/23/2012)

A wonderful, full-bodied tea with just a slight thickness. Do I note subtle cinnamon with regard to the sweet aftertaste? Serve in a bright (white) teacup to appreciate the color and unfurled leaves.

    Tom (9/25/2012)

purchased for all my family members! excellent tea aroma! enjoyed it every day! better to taste than to speak about it =))

    Dmitry (9/18/2012)

Iīve been drinking Keemun tea for years and needed to find a new supplier after Specialteas.com was bought by Teavana. This tea is superb -- it has a deep chocolatey scent, and brews into a full-bodied, satisfying cup. More expensive keemuns arenīt as good as this one. Highly recommended.

    Linda (8/11/2012)

I have been drinking Keemun Mao Feng for many years (at least 20) and I rate this tea at the top of the pile. I will be ordering more in larger quantities. The flavor profile is an absolute delight.

    Stu (6/13/2011)

My first foray into the world of bona fide chinese black tea, this was a surprising step up from Twinings and the usual supermarket fare. A good one to start with and one which I consider one should always have on hand.

an above average KM, typical flavors of wheat and malt. although this gets astringents when over steeped so keep the brewing to <2mins with boiling water. a nice sweet floral KM when brewed perfectly.

This is a really nice black tea, with a lasting delicious aftertaste.

    Terje (8/25/2010)

Now with what does one compare Keemun Mao Feng? It is a very different keemun. I had more aromatic keemun teas, however, they were not Mao Feng. So I still give an excellent rating because that what this tea is, just excellent. And just look at those wonderful leaves.

    Peter (4/13/2010)

Excellent Mao Feng and keemun. Gets it just right.

    Christopher (10/31/2009)

This tea is what I would expect at this price point. The flavour is robust and not overpowering. If you like Keemun, you would enjoy this tea.

    Benjamin (7/26/2009)

This is an excellent everyday tea, it is good and it is not too expensive. The leaves are long and as I use my hand to measure the quantity, I suggest thay handle nicely. Take care not to make the tea too strong, it does not suit keemun. Delicious....

    Elizabeth (6/9/2008)

very good mao feng keemun, with a slightly smoky, tarry taste. good value for its quality
