Chinese White and Yellow Tea Chinese White & Yellow teas are light and delicately smooth. They are the least processed tea, undergoing just steaming and drying, leaving it close to its natural state. Recent studies have shown that these teas contains more cancer-fighting antioxidants than any other teas.
I specifically requested permission to re-rate this tea because my previous review was grossly inaccurate. I didnīt know how to brew caked tea and, consequently, kept messing it up - and it isnīt even difficult. In any event, this is now one of my favourite teas. It is never astringent, though I brew it for upwards of 10 minutes (this is how I like it). You can get so many fantastic infusions out of small amounts that itīs actually very cost effective. Moreover, there is very little caffeine in this tea but thereīs more floral white-tea flavour than any other white tea Iīve come across. I do brew it at 195F for 10 minutes in the Breville tea maker with evian water. I find evian to be superior to other bottled spring waters, you can actually see the oily rainbow on the top of substantially every high quality tea you brew it with. I take this to mean the purity of the water means more tea can come into solution before saturation. In any event, this is an astonishing white tea that I recommend without reservation.

WOW!!! I understand the price on this one. This has such an intense white tea flavor and can steep so many times. Wonderful!!! Has a bit of an acidic sensation also which boost the body of the tea. Purchased the small one, will definitely splurge and buy to cake.
