Good as always, Iīve been ordering this tea on regular basis probably for more than a year along with Keemun Mao Feng. Canīt decide which one I like better.

    Stanislav (2/8/2018)

Along with Keemun Mao Feng this is my favorite morning tea for now.

    Stanislav (8/22/2017)

Well-balanced tea that is perfect for morning hours to accompany your work from home; itīs light but effective tea that gives you constant and smooth stimulus and has a pleasant sweet scent.

    Maja (6/7/2017)

This is one of my favorite teas for its great flavor and itīs smooth texture. And I drink this tea every day.

    Karrie (3/24/2016)

I use this tea at work and when i need a quick cup. Nice quality and a nice price.

    Thomas (12/8/2014)

I like the good taste and the nice price. A perfect balance. :-)

    Thomas (12/8/2014)

Tried it for the first time and liked it. Great as morning wake up tea.

    kseniya (11/15/2014)

Strong, smooth, full-bodied, earthiness, almost a bitter smokiness in the background. Mildly brisk. Some fragrance. The Yunnan tea plant variety used for YG is related to tea plants indigenous to both India and China. YG exhibits an unusual mixture of qualities and unlike most other Chinese black teas.. Re-infuses well. I liked it.

    Kei (7/28/2014)

An alright yunnan gold, and it is good for itīs price

    Neil (7/17/2014)

Lovely big whole leaves and a great tasting black tea!

    David (7/11/2014)

sempre buono il rapporto qualitā prezzo, al primo infuso vi sorprenderā līaroma con note di agrumi, che perō sarā molto meno presente nelle successive infusioni.

    Tommaso (5/15/2014)

Great tea. looking forward to more. As with all teas purchased here. I have found none that do no please and offer some new taste adventure. Each tea has its own special signature.

    James (2/14/2014)

This is a an excellent black tea. Very well rounded flavors and a good caffeine content to it. I usually have a few cups in the morning.

    Timothy (12/27/2013)

I found this tea added ginger and brown sugar can warm your body.

    li (12/17/2013)

I order more as gift for this coming holiday since my friends very like this tea.

    li (12/17/2013)

I use black teas in the morning and in the daytime. This one is pure Gold.

    Thomas (11/26/2013)

Nice. Earthy and rich as promised. We resteep a second time for up to ten minutes. Never bitter or out of balance. Will reorder.

    Michael (11/7/2013)

Smooth full black tea taste. Very good morning tea or anything of day.

    William (5/31/2013)

This is my favourite black tea, always of consistent high quality taste and aroma and great value for money.

    David (4/19/2013)

Very malty, robust yet smooth taste. Excellent black tea.

    William (2/19/2013)

Very strong but not very tasty. Not sophisticated like keemun xian zhen, and quite bitter. Almost like drinking coffee!

    Matthew (2/8/2013)

A nice black tea. Great for everyday drinking. A little earthy, sometimes a little spicy. Dark liquor, nice body, short finish. A good value.

    Michael (11/26/2012)

Iīve missed having this tea for quite some time now, and I was thrilled to find it again from TeaSpring. Itīs just as good as I remember!

    Anne (11/18/2012)

One of the better black teas for everyday brewing and well priced. Wel always keep it in stock.

    Igor (10/15/2012)

I was a bit disappointed by this tea. It was not as good as I expected from prior experience with yunnan gold tea

    Neil (8/21/2012)

It has a good taste without any off flavors. A solid tea that is enjoyable. The brewing and color of the tea is good.

    Ronald (4/4/2012)

Классический черный чай, с легкой терпкостью во вкусе. Рекомендуется для любителей черных чаев, очень хороший выбор.

    Alena (1/6/2012)

Excellent black tea .Very smooth taste and smell. Thank you Teaspring !!!

    Slava ZM (12/20/2011)

Хороший крепкий терпкий чёрный чай. Утром очень бодрит.

    Andrey (11/8/2011)

This tea has a clean smooth taste that is still solid, but not overpowering. It seems like a typical black tea that has nice quality leaves.

    Ronald (11/4/2011)

the bast Yunnan tea I ever taste. very fine tea . i do 4 g for 3 minits with clear spring water at 90°C in a glass tea pot. that is OK

    Daniel (10/27/2011)

    Dmitry (4/18/2011)

I bought this as a gift. It was very well received.

    Michael (4/16/2011)

    Довольно мягкий вкус, нежный аромат.

    Andrey (4/11/2011)

Delicious tea with beautiful leaves. Bold flavor, but not too much so.

    Alex (4/10/2011)

There are lots of other teas that are more expensive or praised by others as being the best, but over my eight decades of life none please the taste more consistently than Yunnan Gold tea. Each spring with the new crop I always buy a yearīs supply to insure that I will never have to drink any other tea for one more year. Some praise for TeaSpring.com is also due for the high quality of service and fast overseas shipment that they offer.

    Maurice (2/17/2011)

not as much to my taste as other blacks, but still an excellent tea

    Dorian (1/4/2011)

Wonderful mouth feel and aroma. It turns to silk in my mouth.

    Dave (9/9/2010)

My new favorite morning black. Excellent tea, smooth taste and aroma

    Sivan (7/14/2010)

Very similar to Teavanaīs Assam Gold Rain Black Tea but much better tasting with a slightly mellower flavor. I prefer the Bi Luo Chun Hong Cha which is slightly less expensive but this is a great black tea to start out with as it isnīt too strong. Usually get about 3-4 steeps out of it before it starts to lose its flavor.

    Michael (6/8/2010)

This Tea is just amazing, really tasty :) I love it!!

    sylvain (5/31/2010)

Feels so fresh that itīs like having it in the tea garden. The sweet malty taste and fragrance is hard to resist.

    Arpita (5/24/2010)

The best black tea i ever drank, with a very refined flavor that will delight you senses.

    Adrian (5/18/2010)

The best black tea i ever drank, with a very refined flavor that will delight you senses.

    Adrian (4/13/2010)

Donīt generally drink black teas so my palate with respect to them is certainly not refined. I found the Yunnan Gold to have a nice clean taste with the rich flavors of a black tea. Multiple infusions are fine. This would be a good choice for a morning tea with a bit of a wake me up result. Looking forward to trying more teas from TeaSpring.Com

    John (4/1/2010)

This is a fine pu erh has the typical taste - could stand some lemon in it but not much-a few drops is all-mk

    michael (10/21/2009)

Delicious tea ! Was very pleased with complex flavors and am happy to report that I have made as many as four fusions from a single teaspoon. Wow !

    Charles (9/28/2009)

Thick fluffy golden tipped leaves, the best black tea in my opinion. Love it, drink it all day long.

    Zenobie (9/15/2009)

Excellent. I prefered this tea even over the more expensive all pure gold. I could drink it every day, all day. Very nice tea.

    Christopher (9/12/2009)

I adore this tea, so mellow, sweet and just perfect every time!

    Zenobie (3/25/2009)

Fine one-recommended and will surely order it again.

    Marko (1/19/2009)

This black tea was very full bodied. The tea itself is very pretty.

    Robert (11/20/2008)

This is my favorite black tea and the best yunnan gold i have yet found anywhere. Lasts for two brewings and has become an every day favorite. When I run out i canīt find anything that even comes close to the taste. Iīll be buying in bulk so that doesnīt happen!

    Zenobie (11/4/2008)

You canīt go wrong with this tea... the flavor is always consistent with every batch and good value for money. Highly recommended. David

    David (9/21/2008)

My first taste of black tea and this Yunnan Gold is absolutely supurb. If you want to try black tea the I suggest you try this one.

    Rod (9/8/2008)

Excellent black tea. I would definately recommend it. Has a wonderul taste!

    Erik (8/21/2008)

Nice malty-honey taste, perfect for the morning. Canīt beat Yunnan Gold.

    Alejandra (6/18/2008)

I like this tea. Iīm not fan of red teas but this one is excellent.

    Milan (6/3/2008)

Beautiful leaf, very aromatic, with hints of red wine and black pepper. Very rich mouthfeel, good strength, typical Yunnan pepper overtones, some hints of tobacco on the finish. I brew English style, 3 minutes in 212 degree filtered water, no sugar or cream. This is an excellent everyday breakfast Yunnan.

    Roy (5/22/2008)

Excellent black tea. The best I ever had. Everyone who tried it was very excited about this tea! Try it!

    Erik (2/22/2008)

A mild flavour with a beautiful smell that wafts up to my nose when first pouring each cup. I like it!

    David (6/15/2007)

This is a great, fruity black tea. If you’ve only had the black teas normally available in the US, you should really give this one a try.

    Matthew (6/4/2007)

Very nice example of this black tea. Recommend keeping first steeping to 45 or 60 seconds.

    Arthur (4/16/2007)

I love this tea. It has supplanted PG Tips (which, by comparison, tastes like a bag of sawdust) as my daily cuppa. Yunnan Gold is not an overpowering tea, but it’s certainly not weak; this tea can withstand a slight case of overbrewing. Mmmmm...

    T (7/28/2006)

This is a mild Yunnan black with its signature malty aroma and flavor, with solid body from tannin, and plesant acidity from high quality fresh black tea. However, it lacks spiciness and lingering aftertaste I want from Yunnan tea! If you want a Chinese version of good Assam, this may not be far from what you want, but it is not spicy, not peppery, and it’s not "Yunnan" in my book.

    Ryuji (5/30/2006)

A great tea. It has a full clear taste. My favorite black tea.

    Greg (1/24/2006)

    Excellent

    GIOVANNI (12/25/2005)

If you like traditional black teas, you will love this. Much more sophiticated than the mass marketed black teas and less bitter.
